Christmas Crochet Projects

I have been having a great time trying out a few new projects, patterns and tutorials that I found online!

I am in love with these Christmas tree baubles/balls/ornaments.

I found a few pictures of them that I loved and this was my favorite.
I decided to purchase this pattern to get the general idea, and then put together a few stitches from other designs.
I absolutely love how these are turning out!

I used completely cheap and basic materials to make ours. This is embroidery cotton floss from Walmart and the Dollar store. The plastic bulbs are from a bulk container from Ikea but you could easily find them at the dollar store or even reuse so old one that you have kicking around.
I used a 2.75mm hook.

I have been making a few practical things like scarves and hats and mitts for winter. Of course a few gifts as well!
This is a wave pattern hat I made for Ava and Xander. I love love love this pattern! I found it here so please go check it out!! I also made a couple for my husband. this is perhaps my favorite hat pattern!
I added a flower to Ava's and I also made a pair of mitts to match using this tutorial.

Here is another fun hat pattern that I designed for my daughter with a pair of matching mitts. i love the colours and texture in this pattern.

Who doesn't love scarves? I have made many of them now, and I thought I'd share a couple recent ones with you.
I found this pattern and adapted it to make simple long infinity scarves. I love the texture!!

I made one for my mama as well. Both of these yarns are from Walmart. The above cream is Lion Brand and below is Bernat.

So this was my first attempt at Entrelac Tunisian crochet! I learned this from watching a Crochet Crowd Tutorial here. They make some of the best tutorials I have found!!

This was so much fun to make. It seemed a bit complicated until I got going and started to understand how it actually worked!
The colors were inspired by so many beautiful works of art I found on Pinterest.

Lastly (for now) I made a couple of snow flakes for gifts from this amazing video tutorial also offered from the Crochet Crowd.

Thank you to those who create amazing patterns and tutorial to help us create things of beauty that we just love!
